Dar es Salaam, Thursday 25th, 2003 PTA Bank return to Tz The
Eastern and Southern African Development Bank also known as the PTA Bank
is back in business in Dar es Salaam after a two yea's absence. The bank pull out coincided with Tanzania's withdrawal from COMESA which its members constitute the principal shareholders to the bank. However, bank officials say the pull out was not related in anyway to Tanzania's withdrawal from COMESA but to latter's failure to honor its membership contributions.
