– MONDAY 5TH JULY 2004
1.0 Today Monday 5th July 2004 is the 6th day of the
Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair.
Yesterday the
fair was visited by Dr. Juma Ngasongwa the Minister
for Industry and Trade and the Parliamentary Committee
for Trade and Investment.
2.0 We would
like to inform our esteemed exhibitors, visitors and
members of the general public to visit the Dar es Salaam
International Trade Fair link under www.tptanzania.com/ditf
where you can get daily updates of the on-going 28th
Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (28th DITF) including
News Release.
3.0 All Exhibitors
are hereby informed that M/S RI Group who are giving
public address services in the fair grounds are linked
to the Radio Broadcasting station. Exhibitors wishing
to promote their products through their services may
contact the group at the Directorate of Research and
Planning of the Board of External Trade.
4.0 We also wish
to remind all exhibitors to co-operate with the BET
research team which is visiting them to collect data
on a daily basis.
5.0 All exhibitors
are further reminded to observe the following:-
5.1 To insure
their exhibits as BET will not be held responsible for
any losses occurring on individual stands;
5.2 All direct
sales require payment of stamp duty and VAT for VAT
registered exhibitors;
5.3 Exhibitors
will not be allowed to sell Pharmaceuticals unless they
have a relevant permit from the Pharmacy Board;
5.4 Playing loud
music is unacceptable as this causes unnecessary noise
and nuisance to others. Those found playing loud music
may have their equipment confiscated;
5.5 To submit
names of companies participating to facilitate issuance
of certificate of participation to all participants.
