Dar es Salaam, Tuesday, September 3rd,2002 Church owned hospitals in danger of being closed down Several hospitals owned and run by various Christian sects in the country are in danger of being closed down, it has been learnt in Dar es salaam recently. The reason for the impending possible closure are the high costs incurred in offering the services to the public without adequate support from donors and the government. If the hospitals close down it will a big blow to the poor and the weak in society because they depend solely on such hospitals to treat them when they get sick at an affordable cost.
